With a vision to preserve a small rural community by providing employment opportunities in north central Kansas, a group of businessmen organized a small manufacturing company called Osborne Industries, Inc. in 1973. Osborne Industries was started in a 4-H building on the county fairgrounds by hand laying-up one product, the Stanfield^® heat pad. The Stanfield heat pad is still marketed and sold as part of our proprietary line of livestock management equipment. By 1976, Osborne Industries developed a closed molding process, later known as Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), and launched the development of a new low-cost method of Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) in 1993.

Since our meager beginning in 1973, Osborne Industries has grown to occupy 242,000 sq-ft of manufacturing, warehouse, and office space on 10.5 acres in Osborne, Kansas. Our products can be found in more than 30 different countries, and we have offices in the United Kingdom and China to provide warehousing and product support to our worldwide customers.

The diverse operations of Osborne Industries and the rural quality of life enable our company to attract, challenge, and retain an excellent and highly-motivated workforce. Our associates work together as a team with pride in workmanship and with experience in production, administration, engineering, and marketing.
